MUDS success at the World Championships!
Worlds is currently underway in Thailand at Assumption University. Congratulations to all teams who made it to the chamionships representing the The University of Melbourne:

A particular congratulations to Elizabeth Sheargold and Steve Worcester who have made it to the finals as adjudicators and to Melbourne C: Nicole Lynch and Daniel Kinsey who have made the finals and are currently up to the Quater Finals!
Melbourne Mini went off!!Melbourne Mini 2007 was an enormous success! It was the biggest, highest quality, best organised, most fun Mini in all the country! There were many interstate and several international debaters adding to what was already an extremely highly talented pool. Congratulations go to Tim Jeffrie and Fiona Prowse from Monash who won the tournament and to Liz Sheargold who won Best Speaker of Melbourne Mini for an astounding fourth time!!
MUDS would like to extend a warm thankyou to Tony Kung and Laura Bellamy the Co-Convenors of the tournament for their dedication and hard work. Congratulations also to all MUDS teams and adjudicators who attended and succeeded at the tournament, including Seamus and Sienna who broke as debaters, and Stephen Worcester (GF) and Laura Bellamy (SF) who broke as adjudicators.
