What is ADAM?

Inaugurated in 2005 as 'Anzac Day at Melbourne' (held over the Anzac Day weekend) ADAM is now a permanent fixture on the Australian debating circuit.  'Another Day at Melbourne' ('ADAM') is an open, 'Australs' style debating tournament hosted by the Melbourne University Debating Society. It is aimed at providing a chance for Australs competitors to have some practise debates at an IV level.  DAV Presidents Cup 2006 027.jpg
thumb_ANU Easters 2006 045.jpgThe tournament is invitational so mixed teams from different unis can be formed. In this way no AA is being enforced, but the tournament organisers and MUDS strongly encourage all competitors to be mindful of the recommended AIDA 'AA' guidelines. This particularly applies to institutions sending multiple teams.
