If you're new to debating at university, this is the perfect time to find out what MUDS is all about.

Come along on either Thursday or Friday (25th-26th) to visit our stall at the Clubs and Societies Expo, located on Union Lawn. You'll be able to meet the committee (as well as other members of the club), get more information on what we actually do at MUDS and why you should get involved, and sign-up or renew your membership for 2010! ($5 with union membership, $10 without).

On Thursday, from 1.00 to 2.30pm, MUDS will also be hosting a free barbecue for members both new and old, at the Old Metallurgy courtyard (J17 on official university maps). Beer, soft drink, and sausages/vegetarian alternatives will be provided.This provides a great opportunity to get to know other members of the Society before the semester begins.

Our first weekly meeting will be on Tuesday, the 2nd of March at 5.30pm. More details will be coming soon.
