Public Debates

That's right, the MUDS Annual Public Debate is upon us once again! Come and see experts in the health and public policy fields battle it out on the topic 'That the federal government should take over the public health system.'

When? Tuesday, September 15. The debate will begin at 6.30pm, so please arrive from 6.00 to get a seat.

Where? Laby Theatre, in the David Caro Physics Building, which is situated next to the Ian Potter Museum and is just off Swanston St (see the uploaded map).

On the Affirmative team:

  • Dr. Chris Wright, Medical Director of the ICU, Monash Medical Centre

The Public Debate is always an interesting and entertaining evening, and with such an array of fascinating speakers, this year promises to be just as exciting. Furthermore, MUDS will serve some refreshments at The Clyde after the debate. What’s not to love?
